LET THE WINDS CARRY ME
The path of footprints you left behind
I believed were steps of love
But theres no doubt anymore
That loving you was so different
To the way you loved me
Reality versus fantasy
Its all there, nothing more I can do
Ripped to pieces, torn apart
Let the winds please carry me
From this time, away from you
Let the winds please carry me
The raw emotions inside of me
Caused because I let you in
I close my eyes and try so hard
To keep the memories burning bright
As a reminder to what you did
But each day the flame gets dimmer
And one day it will be gone
Ripped to pieces, torn apart
Let the winds please carry me
From this time, away from you
Let the winds please carry me
See the tears that I cry
Feel my sorrow and my pain
Yeah you laugh! Go ahead
I won’t let you fuck up my head
My heart you took and destroyed
But I still have left some tiny pride
I will be around no more
But my presence you will feel
When the wind gently blows
Ripped to pieces, torn apart
Let the winds please carry me
From this time, away from you
Let the winds please carry me
